This formerly economy-class hotel was transformed by a major renovation in spring 2000. It's located in the middle of the red light district (a five-minute walk to Central Station), the most popular neigh­bourhood for Copenhagen hotels. The rooms are agreeably decorated in light colours, and the hotel is notable for its friendly service. Ask for a room overlooking the courtyard at the back if you want to avoid the traffic noise.
